Signature Kitchen Suite Makes ICFF Debut with Award-Winning Luxury Appliance Portfolio

New Appliance Brand Showcases Industry-First Pro Range with Sous-Vide Modality and New Wine Column Refrigerators During National Home Remodeling Month

NEW YORK, May 20, 2019 – Signature Kitchen Suite, the new challenger brand redefining luxury within the kitchen appliance market, is a first-time featured exhibitor at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), North America’s premiere international platform for luxury design among architects, interior designers and developers. As the exclusive luxury home appliance brand featured at ICFF, Signature Kitchen Suite will spotlight new innovations, including the first-of-its-kind pro range with built-in sous-vide modality and integrated wine column refrigerators that redefine home wine storage and preservation.

“Our presence at ICFF marks a major milestone in our respectful journey to disrupt the status quo in the luxury appliance category,” said Zach Elkin, general manager of Signature Kitchen Suite. “It is our mission to bring awareness to everyone from the designer to the homeowner about new, noteworthy options that are now available in today’s luxury market and introduce Signature Kitchen Suite as a peerless leader that addresses the needs of those seeking thoughtful design, culinary precision and leading-edge technology.”

May is National Home Remodeling Month, and according to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), residential remodeling spending is projected to grow through 2020.[1] At the same time, nearly half of all kitchen remodelers express regret after the completion of their renovation project, with 44 percent of those who made kitchen improvements in the past year saying that they would spend more money if they could do it again, according to fresh research from the Research Institute for Cooking & Kitchen Intelligence: RICKI[2]. Also of note is that 57 percent of homeowners saying they would like to better understand the number of choices and decisions available to them.

To help educate the design and builder trade community on the latest technologies for the high-end kitchen market, Signature Kitchen Suite just opened its Experience & Design Center in the heart of culinary-centric Napa Valley, Calif. This first-of-its-kind facility explores the intersection between technology and culinary passion and operates as a hub for brand immersions with VIP dealer sales associates, designers, builder and influencers throughout the year.

The centerpiece of the 23,000-square-foot facility is the high-performance Signature Kitchen Suite-equipped demonstration kitchen, which is one of 20-plus vignettes. Founded on the idea that better cooking is possible through better thinking, the Signature Kitchen Suite portfolio caters to a new generation of forward-thinking cooks called Technicureans, combining their passion for food with their appreciation for innovation.

At ICFF, along with its portfolio of column refrigerators/freezers, pro-style ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, ventilation hoods, microwaves and dishwashers on display, Signature Kitchen Suite will spotlight key innovations including:

  • First-to-Market 48-inch Dual-Fuel Pro Range: At the heart of the Signature Kitchen Suite cooking portfolio is the industry-first 48-inch pro range that offers built-in sous-vide, induction and gas, all on the cooktop. Precision, power and versatility are a recipe for ensuring food is cooked in the best way possible, and consumer favorites like two-zone induction, True Combi-Steam™ oven, and innovative sous-vide cooking modality bring an exceptional level of convenience to the home chef. Once limited to the pros, the sous-vide cooking technique has been the go-to method of the world’s best restaurants for years. It uses precise temperature control to slow-cook vacuum-sealed food in a water bath, delivering the perfect doneness, edge-to-edge, every time. Later this year, the company will expand sous-vide modality on its pro-range line, with a new 36-inch model.
  • Precise Wine Preservation with Integrated Wine Column Refrigerators: The winner of the National Kitchen and Bath Association’s inaugural “30s Choice Awards” in the Smart Home Integration category, Signature Kitchen Suite’s new wine column refrigerators offer unique, exclusive Wine Cave™ technology designed to significantly reduce vibration – a primary impediment to wine preservation, which causes chemical imbalances affecting the quality, flavors, aromas and texture. Available in 18- and 24-inch sizes, the unique design of the wine columns also minimizes temperature fluctuations, limits light exposure and locks in humidity. To complement the series, Signature Kitchen launched its AI-driven “True Sommelier™” App, powered by Wine Ring, helping wine collectors manage their personal collections. The app uses patented technology to learn consumer wine preferences and make recommendations, including food and wine pairings, for individuals and groups based on the wines stored in the user’s cellar.

ICFF also coincides with the launch this month of Signature Kitchen Suite’s “True Design Challenge.” This nationwide design competition offers 15 professional designers, architects, builders, remodelers and dealers a unique opportunity to spotlight their best kitchen designs outfitted with Signature Kitchen Suite appliances. Prizes include cash awards and all-expenses-paid trips to the True Design Awards Gala at the new Signature Kitchen Suite Experience & Design Center in Napa, Calif., totaling more than $100,000. All design styles are now welcome for submission through January 31, 2021. ICFF attendees are encouraged to learn more at the Signature Kitchen Suite booth (#2607).
